Highlights, To tribe Published the 11 January 2021 Between sand and sea spray, the legendary Enduropale motorcycle event is a highlight for fans of high-speed sports.The 25th, 26th and 27th of february 2022Every winter, Le Touquet-Paris-Plage attracts hordes of racing fans, motorcycle enthusiasts and curious visitors… But the exhilarating atmosphere also invades the streets of the resorts for this sporting weekend that still has the wind in its sails. The figures behind the event’s success speak for themselves. In 2020, the world’s biggest off-road motorcycle race attracted some 450,000 visitors! A reputation that stretches well beyond the borders, since riders of no less than 20 nationalities come to compete in the five races.From passion to actionIn 1975, the famous racing driver Thierry Sabine, who at the time was a press officer for Le Touquet town council, decided to invent a French version of the mass endurance racing events seen in the USA. He chose this resort to host the competition, with a line start taking place on the beach. The first event drew 286 competitors.
