A touch of elegance, Highlights

The International Showjumping is a major event that features in the diary of the world’s best riders.
Every year in May, the world’s top riders meet at the Parc Équestre du Touquet-Paris-Plage, to compete in 27 different showjumping heats.
Which audience?
The showjumping is a joy not only for enthusiasts who will marvel at the performance of horses and riders, but also for curious spectators who will be impressed by the outstanding venue. This includes eating areas that range from snack bars to the VIP lounge. So why not enjoy a glass of champagne or a nice cold beer while you watch this magnificent sport?
As for the children, they’ll love the activities organised by the OJEM, installed here just for the occasion, from the Thursday to the Sunday. Every year, an exhibition village and a wide range of activities ensure that the whole family have a wonderful time!
A 3-star competition at top level
This grand weekend attracts more than 600 horses representing about twenty different nations. The competition is one of the sport’s major challenges, as Le Touquet has been chosen by the French Equestrian Federation to host this qualifying event for the LONGINES EEF SERIES 3-star International Showjumping. Until now, La Baule was the only venue in France to host a Nations Cup competition.
A first, and proof of the high standard of facilities at the Equestrian Park, which is recognised as one of Europe’s best equestrian sites.
Three arenas serve as the backdrop to this extraordinary competition:
- The main arena of 12,000 m² with a 1000-seat grandstand. One of the last grass arenas still maintained in France, this is where the Nations Cup event is held, as well as other showcase competitions such as the Derby, the qualifying heats and the local Grand Prix event.
- Canche Bay, a sand arena with a sea view (7000 m²).
- The “Spring Garden” arena, where horses and riders do their warm up sessions.

The International Showjumping competition is now one of the 4 major events hosted by the resort of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. Between the different heats, the beaches and landscapes of the Opal Coast invite you to explore.
