Her shop is a real Aladdin’s cave, with masks to paint, Fimo dough, tapestry, scoobie strings, Décopatch items, candle-making and jewellery-making kits (including elasticated bracelets, the latest trend), not forgetting a range of paper-mache and polystyrene moulds in heart, butterfly, ladybird, dolphin and other animal shapes that liven up the shop counter! One thing’s for sure: busy mums can count on Andrée to come up with THE great solution to help them out on a Wednesday afternoon or a rainy weekend! And, aware as she is that not everybody is a ‘talented designer’ or ‘famous artist’, Andrée proposes an after-sales service too. Technical problems? Bring your work to the shop or give Andrée a call and she'll get you out of the stickiest of situations! For seasoned creators, ‘Trucs & Astuces’ is one of the rare outlets that sells 100% linen canvasses in many different sizes, easels, Canson paper of every colour, and fine-arts materials from brands such as Lefranc Bourgeois, Colart, Raphael and Faber Castell... So get creating! Low season: open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays 10.30am to 12 noon and 3pm to 6.30pm. During the school holidays: open daily except Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings and Thursday mornings 10.30am to 12 noon and 3pm to 6.30pm.
