You know the holiday’s going well (hopefully!) when your kids say “yeah, this is epic” or “oh yes!” or use words like “cool”, “awesome”, “big-time”, “wicked” and so on. Read on to find out what to expect, even on your very first visit to Le Touquet.

  • Step 1 – They make friends

This takes place during the “Festival des Tout Petits” (festival for small children from mid-July to mid-August) or at the beach clubs. This is where young holidaymakers aged 3 years and up will find an accomplice to help build a sandcastle or become their trampoline partner.

  • Step 2 – They embark on a career as a professional athlete

At last… this is what they’re likely to say after their tuition course in one of the resort’s iconic sports: horse riding, catamaran sailing, golf, sandyachting and tennis.

  • Step 3 – They vie to be the most inventive, the most creative

…during cultural activities, culinary workshops or heritage tours, at the top of the lighthouse, in Canche Bay or in the forest.

  • Step 4 – You finally let them fend for themselves

They enjoy fun and laughter at the beach, at the cinema, in the cafés, bars and night… oops, now I’m forgetting myself.

You’ll then very probably wonder where the time has gone. We have no answer to that question but, rest assured, they’ll go away with holiday memories that will surely stay with them forever.
