“In Le Touquet, leave your vehicle on the car park you will”. These few words sum up the local philosophy. Here, you get around on foot, by bike, on an E-scooter or by Segway®…

Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the resort’s sports manager back in 1903, harboured the ambition of ensuring everything was “within 5 minutes on horseback” of the Tennis Complex. That ambition still meets with success even today!

To warm up those leg muscles, you can arrive bright and early, on foot, via the leafy pathways. It might sound rather ordinary, but what could be more pleasant in the tranquillity of dawn’s first rays? Once in the town centre, what better idea than to rent a bicycle and explore the resort’s every nook and cranny along the 15km of safe and easy cycle paths?

For the more adventurous, why not try something more original? For example, did you know that it takes barely 5 minutes to get the hang of a Segway®? Handling this strange, easy-to-use machine soon becomes highly intuitive. Equipped with a helmet, you can head for the Canche Bay Nature Park, the perfect place for your first trip on this self-balancing 2-wheeler.

Back on terra firma, it’s time to try an even greater sporting challenge. An off-road electric scooter should fit the bill! From tarmac to steep paths, it promises a palpitating and highly original experience, so hold tight!

End the day with a peaceful horse ride in the forest or on the beach, before taking to the avenues of Le Touquet on a Surrey bike, guaranteed to have you in fits of laughter. Then, exhausted, you can simply jump aboard a “sea and forest” shuttle bus to return to your vehicle which, after all, hasn’t even been needed.
